Hooked on Phonics Learn to Read Kindergarten Level 2

Reading for elementary school students can be a challenge. If you have a struggling student, there are options for help available. Reading tutors, phonics instruction, reading workbooks, and simply practicing can all be useful tools to help. Some children learn to read later than others, simply because they were not developmentally ready to learn to read. Reading, however, is a vital tool in the success of school. Students will typically learn to read in first grade, however, some students will not learn to be a fluent reader until 3rd grade or later. These students who learn to read later will need some extra support in order to get them to catch up to those students who learned to read earlier on in school. Unfortunately, teachers must keep moving forward with curriculum regardless of whether or not each student in the class has mastered his or her reading skills. It is, therefore, up to the parent to provide additional support to the student. A parent needs to know that there are tutoring programs, workbooks, and phonics programs that will all help dramatically improve a child’s reading skills. READING WORKBOOKS
